Christopher Curtis

Christopher Paul Curtis was born in Flint, Michigan on May 10, 1954. He went to the University of Michigan as an education.

Curtis grew up in Flint, Michigan. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Michigan, Flint to study political science. But in 1972 he joined

Fisher Body automobile plant where his father worked. He wrote when he was bored, after the 10 hour work day. He wrote Bud, not Buddy in 1999 which won the Newberry Medal.
